Soak up the good vibes at Amherstburg Open Air Weekends, happening every Friday at 3pm to Sunday at 8pm in downtown! Snack on sweet treats and sip on delicious drinks – visit your favourite local dining spots. Browse the vendor market and local shops filled with unique finds. Enjoy plenty of fun activities such as yoga, chess, historical tours, and live entertainment – fun for the whole family!

Guided Historic Walking Tours: Saturdays & Sundays at 2pm Downtown Clocktower
Yoga in the Park: Sundays at 10am in the King’s Navy Yard Park
Coffee and Culture Presented by Marsh Historic Collection: Sundays at 3pm Clocktower
Chess Classes and Tournament Offered by Latitude Chess: Registration required, see below

Chess Classes & Tournament

Join Latitude Chess for relaxed, welcoming chess classes held outdoors during Open Air this season! These sessions are designed for players of all skill levels and focus on learning, practicing, and enjoying the game in a social setting.

What to Expect:

Guided instruction and casual coaching
Practice games with fellow participants
Opportunities to improve strategy and gameplay
A fun, inclusive environment for all ages

There are many ways to enjoy Open Air Weekends. Whether you are riding your bike, driving your electric or gas vehicle or need accessible parking we have got you covered. Areas of our downtown streets (Richmond St., Dalhousie St., and Murray St.) will be closed starting at 3pm on Fridays, and re-opening at 8pm on Sunday.
