Celebrate Amherstburg’s heritage at Open Air Weekend from July 31 to August 2nd! Take a step back in time by joining our heritage tours, take part in the Town Crier competition, and more!

What's Happening This Weekend:

Friday

  • Night Market: 5-9pm
  • Live Music:
    – 5pm: Town Crier
    – 5 – 7pm: Vocal Express
    – 7pm: Bagpipes in the ‘Burg
    – 7:15 – 8:30pm: Vocal Express

Saturday

  • Activities:
    – 8am: Acai Yoga/Pilates
    – 11am-4pm: Town Crier Competition
    – 1am-6pm: Chess Tournament with Latitude Chess
    – 2pm: Historical Tour
    – 7pm: Trevor’s Memorial

Sunday

  • Activities:
    – 10am: Yoga in the Park
    -11am: Storytime Sundays at River Bookshop
    – 2pm: Historical Tour
    – 3pm: Coffee and Culture
  • Live Music:

There are many ways to enjoy Open Air Weekends. Whether you are riding your bike, driving your electric or gas vehicle or need accessible parking we have got you covered. Areas of our downtown streets (Richmond St., Dalhousie St., and Murray St.) will be closed starting at 3pm on Fridays, and re-opening at 8pm on Sunday.
