Amherstburg is quickly becoming Essex County’s go-to destination for drinks and good vibes. From unique hangout spots to delicious pub-style bites, you can enjoy locally crafted beer, wine, and spirits – served fresh right at the source.

OPEN FOR THE SEASON: Holiday Beach Conservation Area
Holiday Beach is a scenic Lake Erie destination perfect for beach days, picnics, or getaways, featuring sandy shores, campsites, a rental cottage, trails, a boardwalk, observation tower, and family-friendly amenities.
Holiday Beach has also received international recognition in 2000 as a globally significant Important Bird Area (IBA), joining BirdLife International‘s global network of IBA sites.
Entry cost is $12/car or $5 per cyclist/pedestrian and is collected by a credit card automated gate when you enter.
The park is open daily from 6:00am to 8:00pm until Thanksgiving.
JUNE 2-14: "In the Making" a solo exhibition by Tatyanna at the Gibson Gallery
“In the Making” is an exhibit centered on process over perfection. It brings together expressive, mainly small-scale works from different stages of the artist’s journey; from bold, intuitive exploration to detailed study.
A reception will take place on Sunday, June 14 at 2:30pm

Brazilian Village is coming to the Carousel of Nations in downtown Amherstburg!
Join us on June 12, 13, and 14, 2026 for a three-day experience filled with authentic food, music, dance, and local vendors bringing the energy of Brazil to life.

JUNE 12 - 14 & 19 - 21: Irish Village - Carrousel of the Nations
Check out two weekends of Irish music, food and beverage at the Irish Village!
Enjoy a delicious food menu from The Hub Catering Company, featuring shepherds pie, salads, stews, Reuben sandwiches and more! Plus a full lineup of craft beer and seltzers will be served. Musicians, dancers, storytellers, games and more will take over the village on both weekends.
