Amherstburg’s Waterfront Festival Plaza opens

Amherstburg has cut the ribbon on a new piece of its waterfront years in the making. The new Waterfront Festival Plaza extends King’s Navy Yard Park on the former Duffy’s Tavern site which the town bought back in 2018. Crews cleared and cleaned the land before creating the new gathering space and the waterfront work isn’t done yet.
