WSO Concert: Korin Thomas-Smith Sings Mozart at Amherstburg Freedom Museum.
Jean-Philippe Rameau’s Platee was one of the most highly regarded of Rameau’s operas during his lifetime. Ballet was a huge part of 18th century French opera. Jean-Joseph Cassanea de Mondonville rounds out the program with a concert of pre-revolutionary court music and you’ll hear music from the Marriage of Figaro by their contemporary Mozart sung by Korin Thomas-Smith.
