Visit a town immersed in the holiday spirit!

Every night, 100’s of customized LED light displays light up the town’s two main parks. Toddy Jones Park features whimsical, playful displays for the kids and the kid at heart to enjoy. Along the Detroit River, visit the King’s Navy Yard Park. You will see traditional displays that showcase the warm hearted feel of the season with carolers, angels, soldiers and more.

The downtown businesses are lit up for the holiday season and encourage you to stop by, warm up and shop local.

Visiting River Lights has become a tradition for many families … make it one of yours!

We please ask that all COVID-19 regulations and social distancing from other families are adhered to while safely visiting the parks.

Santa Saturday December 4th
Hello there parents,
Santa will be at River Lights on Saturday December 4th from 6-8pm.
He and Mrs. Claus will be inside the Amherstburg snow globe next to the Gordon House to read some stories and to do a special Santa Shout Out.

*Santa Shout Out – There will be secret elves (dressed as civilians) amongst the crowd who will be ready to gets some details about your child’s Christmas list to relay to Santa in the globe. The information the secret elves will need from the parents include the child’s name, what they are wearing so Santa can spot them in the crowd and information that you want Santa to relay to the child (such as what is on their Christmas list or why you believe they have been good this year).
