We Were Always Here, a celebration of the 2SLGBTQ+ Community in History exhibit at Park House

We Were Always Here, A Celebration of the 2SLGBTQ+ Community in History

Join the Park House Museum and engage in their temporary exhibition, “We Were Always Here, A Celebration of the 2SLGBTQ+ Community in History”. The exhibition highlights four historic members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, tells their stories, and encourages visitors to reflect on queer history.

The exhibition serves as a reminder that we were always here, and that the 2SLGBTQ+ community has existed all throughout history. It highlights both the achievements and struggles faced by the community’s members, and their constant struggles for equality, individuality, and respect.

This exhibition was curated by the Park House Museum and will be on display in the museum’s historic parlor until August 29th, 2025. The exhibition is included with the cost of admission to the museum.
