A new waterfront legacy project was unveiled in Amherstburg Thursday morning made possible through an investment from the WindsorEssex Community Foundation in celebration of their 40 Years of Inspiring Philanthropy.

The new “Hole in the Wall” Photo Frame is an inspiring new waterfront attraction for tourists and local residents to enjoy. The frame provides an opportunity for visitors to capture their experiences and the landmark scenery offered by Amherstburg’s waterfront, and serves as a new gateway to the community.

She is pictured in downtown Amherstburg on the waterfront near displays for the River Lights Winter Festival

Everybody loves a parade and in this episode Arms Bumanlag talks to Maggie Durocher, Executive Director of the Windsor Parade Corporation who is ready to kick off the holiday season with three parades she and her team organize. Amherstburg on November 25 at 6 p.m. The parade starts in downtown Amherstburg at Sandwich Street, ending at Toddy Jones Park. The event is part of the River Lights Winter Festival.

For the 26th annual Biz X Awards edition, we celebrate our picture anniversary with a Picture Perfect theme. The gemstone associated with this anniversary is jade and the modern gift is artwork. In our opinion, the best image to make the point about this theme was our own version of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, as shown on the cover. Painted in Florence, Italy, sometime between 1503 and 1519 da Vinci’s artwork is the most famous painting in the world, but not just because of its artistic appeal. The mystery of the Mona Lisa’s real identity may never be known for certain, but in our case, we are ready to reveal the 2023 Biz X Award winners!

Large Photo Frame Coming To Amherstburg

The Windsor Essex Community Foundation is celebrating 40 years and celebrating with a legacy project in Amherstburg.

The photo frame concept will be constructed south of the Tourist Information Centre on the waterfront. The proposed photo frame stands 8 feet tall and 8 feet wide, with an accessible pathway leading up to and around it.
